With background as a chorister, a pianist, and a folk recorder tootler, Nic Evennett's genre-swerving songs embrace a variety of influences, from Renaissance music to trip hop. Nic has been composing and arranging since childhood, graduated in Music longer ago than she cares to admit, and has focussed her attentions on song-writing in the past ten years.
Nic has featured regularly on radio, including BBC 6 Music, BBC Kent, FIP Radio (France), and Exile FM to name a few. She has one album and two EPs under her belt, as well as several single releases. Credits include BBC 2's Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
Nic is a mental health advocate, and she's passionate about musicians with mental and physical difficulties preventing them from gigging and touring feeling they have a voice and equal place in the music world.
